I believe that the interactions between you and the ones you love are more important than any brand of forced smile. A silly smirk or roaring belly laugh; a loving gaze at your child’s  face. These are the real moments that make your session unique. Years from now, I want these images to reflect a record of what your real life was like at that moment in time. This type of session typically lasts for 2 hours. I have suggestions for a successful session that I will share with you.

Same idea as a Lifestyle session but I just focus on the little ones. A few stand alone portraits are typically included in this kind of collection. I want your kids to show me their favorite books, toys and wear their favorite clothes, shoes, hats, etc. Attention Parents! Please be prepared to hang back and observe during the time your child is being captured naturally. Let them be a little mischievous and playful and, rest assured, I will ask for your help should I feel the need for some authority!

Please don’t ask them to “say cheese!” or ask them to ‘behave’ too often; it can interfere with natural flow of the session. 🙂

Although my style is more laid back and casual, if a more formal/posed portrait is what you are after, then I can create this look for you! We can document the whole family by keeping things loose and informal. See my gallery of family portraits for some examples of my style. I always look for those little moments-in-between-moments during your session that capture some connection and emotion.

Please inquire about my multi-session baby package that documents several stages of your child’s first year of life. This option includes a 5×7 keepsake album after baby’s first birthday. Each session is only about 1 hour long.

Senior sessions result in more than just a yearbook photo! It’s a session that marks a transitional time in your young adult life. The location for your session should be a place that best suits the feeling you want to convey. I can help you with ideas for location and attire. Please download the portrait agreement, sign and send back to me with a deposit.

Need a LinkedIn photo? Real estate portrait? Or just want to update your Facebook profile? This is the session for you. Typically lasts about 1 hour (slightly longer if you require a more formal look). See my examples in the gallery for some inspiration.
